The Game Boy Advance SP also came with a screen LCD new and more promising for improved gameplay.
Around the same time as the release of the Game Boy Micro, Nintendo released a version with backlight news of the PS in North America (commonly referred to as GBA SP "+"). The switch that controls the light now toggles between "Normal" (which itself is already brighter than the screen of the original Game Boy Advance SP), and "brilliant", a brightness level intense like an LCD TV.

This model, dubbed the Game Boy micro, is similar in style to the horizontal orientation of the original Game Boy Advance, but is much smaller and thinner.
