Controller Wii Remote
3 and Super Mario Bros. on the Virtual Console and I have 1 Wii Remote and GameCube controllers 2. How can I use Wii remote and Gamecube controller for a game two players? I understood how to use one or the other, but when the 2nd round, the players neither one will work. I have a joystick i classic just bought but if I can use the GC controller with Wii Remote I will take back the Classic Controller.
This second response is quite wrong .. you wii controllers and gc can mix with most multiplayer games virtual console .. but you must ensure that the GC controller is in the second port so that it works. In addition, all the VC games that uses a classic controller is compatible with a GC controller. On a funnier note, I let my game Super Mario cousin (from Virtual Console) using the Wii Remote, but I had a gc control in the first port.
